Play Sense

Play Sense is the brain child of Vanessa DeMarmels, OTR who wanted to bring together the power of the play therapy relationship with her knowledge of sensory integration strategies. During the one-hour Play Sense group, pre-school age children work in groups of 3 or 4 with both a Play Therapist and an Occupational Therapist to work together, compromise, problem solve, and reach their full potential!

Sensory strategies and conflict will prompt a full spectrum of emotional responses and with the help of 2 professionals, children will learn new ways to relate to each other and regulate their feelings and bodies.
